Cincinnati Association for the Education of Young Children (Cincinnati AEYC)

 

Announces $3000 Available for Education Grants

 

Cincinnati AEYC 2010 Mini Grants Call is Open!

v     Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of early childhood professionals

v     All applicants will be notified in November 2010

v     Grants will be presented in December 2010 (Location, time, and date TBA)

To apply, all items from the check list following must be completed and relevant materials submitted in order for your proposal to be considered:

 

o No identifying name of an individual or school/center/program should appear on the front of any page.  Doing so will result in disqualification

 

o The back of EACH page in the proposal should include:

    1. applicant name
    2. complete work address
    3. complete home address
    4. phone number(s)
    5. email address
    6. name of school/center/program
    7. work schedule – include days and times

 

o Maximum grant request is $250.00; applications may be submitted for less

 

o Include applicant’s CAEYC Membership Number
(Applicant must be a current member of CAEYC, but not a voting member of the CAEYC Board)

 

o Applicant is limited to one proposal per year

 

o Deadline for proposals will be announced an is sometime in October 2010 submitted thru US Postal Service

 Entries postmarked after October .... 2010 will not be considered - Check back for actual date.

 

o Proposals should be typed, and include the following:

a.        brief description of school/center/program

    1. number of children served
    2. age ranges of children served
    3. plan of action briefly describing the following:

                                                               i.      how the funds will be used

                                                              ii.      time line involved

                                                            iii.      who will benefit and how

    1. itemized list (in list form) that includes:

                                                               i.      name of equipment to be purchased

                                                              ii.      manufacturer’s info

                                                            iii.      cost of each item

                                                            iv.      total cost (including any taxes/shipping)
