The next Infant/Toddler Focus Group is: 1:00p.m. Friday January 22, 2010.

1:00, at UC Early Learning Center 3310 Ruther Ave Cincinnati, OH 45220

Christine Fields, Infant/Toddler Specialist at 4C will be talking about the Infant/Toddler guidelines and making connections with materials and ideas for the classroom.

In previous group gatherings members have benefited from this such as:

A presentation on Anti-Bias curriculums by Helene Hart

The "Time for Toddlers" video was shown followed by professional analysis and an in-depth discussion on its relevance in the classroom.

Tips on Teacher made materials as well as strategies for effective child development are shared.

Local area Child Development Centers are visited. Informative interviews, discussions, and observations are made.

The most recent visit to the Toyota Plant's employee Childcare Center gave the group valuable insight of sight planning and space design for child centers in a workplace environment. The group observed the differing techniques used in the development of children in various age groups. The participants directed the topics of discussion.
