Infant/Toddler Focus Group
This group meets once a month to discuss the latest and most
relevant issues pertaining to infants and toddlers.
New members are always welcome to join the group!
In previous group
gatherings members have benefited from this such as:
A
presentation on Anti-Bias curriculums by Helene Hart
The "Time for Toddlers" video was shown followed by professional
analysis and an in-depth discussion on its relevance in the
classroom.
Tips on Teacher made materials as well as strategies for effective
child development are shared.
Local area Child Development Centers are visited. Informative
interviews, discussions, and observations are made.
The most recent visit to the Toyota Plant's employee Childcare
Center gave the group valuable insight of sight planning and space
design for child centers in a workplace environment. The group
observed the differing techniques used in the development of
children in various age groups. The participants directed the topics
of discussion.
The next
Infant/Toddler Focus Group is: No Summer
Meetings!
At U.C. Early Learning Center.
Nicole Johnson will be presenting.
