$ Call for Mini Grant Proposals $
The deadline for applying is August 31!
Cincinnati Association for the Education of Young Children is pleased to announce,
“It’s time for Mini Grants!”
Here’s what you need to know in order to apply:
1. $5000 in grants is available to support developmentally appropriate programming needs.
2. Maximum grant request is $250, but applications can be for less.
3. Applicant must be a current member of CAEYC, but not a voting member of the CAEYC Board.
4. Applicant is limited to one proposal per year.
5. Deadline for proposals is August 31, 2008. Entries must be received thru the USPS.
Entries postmarked after this date will not be considered.
6. Proposals should be mailed to:

7. Proposals should be typed, and include the following:
a. description of school/center/program
b. number of children served
c. age ranges of children served
d. plan of action describing
i. how the funds will be used
ii. time line involved
iii. who will benefit and how
e. itemized list that includes:
i. name of equipment to be purchased
ii. manufacturer’s info
iii. cost of each item
8. The back of EACH page in the proposal, should include
a. applicant’s name
b. complete work address
c. complete home address
d. phone number(s)
e. email address
f. name of school/center/program
9. No identifying name of an individual or school/center/program should appear on the front of any page. Doing so will result in disqualification.
10. Proposals will be reviewed blindly by a committee of early childhood professionals. All applicants will be notified in September 2008. Grants will be presented on Oct. 4, 2008 at CAEYC’s fall conference.
